Brief
Hi! My name is Lily, I’m six years old and live in Ireland with my sister and my two cats (Judy and Stevie) who have one eye each. In our house, we speak English and German. I’m getting confident with my English writing, but I’m still shy about writing in German, which is why I would like a German penpal I can share both languages with. I will always write a letter myself, but I will also dictate a letter to my Mama or Mammy so I can share my bigger ideas if you want.
I really enjoy horse riding, and my favourite horse is Nikolai from my riding school, who is a brown and white stallion with a big personality. I love fairy tales, spooky stories, animals (especially frogs and dogs) crafts and Stitch. Recently I’ve been listening to a lot of Tabaluga and Simsala Grimm on my Tigerbox. When I grow up, I want to be an animal rescuer.
Because of my age, I’m hoping for a reliable penpal aged 5 to 7 who is parent-supervised and will swap letters once a month. This might be good for someone looking to add to their homeschooling curriculum.
